Ty'n y Ffordd Cottage
Ty'n y ffordd is a truly spellbinding whitewashed cottage. The magnificent Grade II listed property has been rated ' 5 stars ' by the Welsh Tourist Board.
Internally, the decor tastefully mixes every modern essential with a bristling array of original rustic beams.
Downstairs accommodation includes a cosy and very comfortable open-plan living room with roaring wood-burning stove.Those modern "essentials": Wi-fi, Sky TV and i-pod docking station are all provided ex gratis, should you require them.
The kitchen is fully fitted with hand-made oak units and the light, spacious dining area has French doors opening on to a quaint sheltered garden where you can gaze, mesmerised, at the glorious mountain views.
Also on the ground floor are two uniquely appointed bedrooms - a twin and a double with a large tiled bathroom with a powerful shower over the bath. A host of unique features, as quirky as they are charming, complete these lovely rooms. What will you discover?
Upstairs, a delightful sitting nook area with television and DVD player provides an ideal spot for privacy and recreation. A further double bedroom allows you the luxury of viewing the mountain scenery whilst reclining upon a fur-strewn bed. Naturally, the convenience of a powerful shower is included in the en-suite bathroom.
Almost a mile of fishing on the river Dovey is included, where sea trout and salmon await the keen angler. The cottage is let from Sat - Sat 4.00 p.m. on day of arrival until 10.00 a.m. on day of departure. Regretfully we do not accept pets.
Available all year round, Ty'n y ffordd is ideal for a family or couple looking for a quiet retreat that oozes quality, taste and warmth.
